Ian, Matthew, Mark and Keith departed from Norwich Airport Yesterday for Lumpewe Uganda. Well done to the ground crew for making it possible for the flight to take of on time, given all the snow we have had in Norwich over the preceding 48 hours they did a wonderful job. I can report the team arrived safely in Uganda last night and are now on route to Lumpewe. During this mission they plan to complete a veranda at the front of Dowdie Block, install electrical supply and LED Lighting in the class rooms
About The Author
I became a Christian in April 1991 and was baptised on 27 May 1991. Since becoming a Christian attended church with various denominations, this was due to work taking me to different places, finding a place that suited was not always easy, but I did discover that the label on the door of the building is not important. What is important is the heart of the people, are they serving a Glorious God or are they members of a social club. I prefer to call myself a Disciple of Jesus rather than Christian, after all that is what Jesus commanded us to do "Go and Make Disciples". I am still learning how to be a good disciple, and probably will do so until Jesus returns or I am called home. In the latter years I have been in fellowship at Lighthouse Community Church, Sheringham, Norfolk. As part of my service for the last 3 years I have been leading the Building and Property Team. In the last year I have taken on the role of Operations Director for Reed People, a project established by Lighthouse Charity Trust. I am a self employed business consultant serving the Retail Sector.
